Carole Pindaro, APRN
Carole Pindaro received her Master of Nursing from the Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, Mississippi in 1990, after receiving her Master of Public Health in 1984 from the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in New Orleans, LA. She has worked exclusively with HIV since the beginning of the epidemic—first at the LSU HIV Outpatient Program known as HOP, and then with NO/AIDS Task Force in 2008, now CrescentCare. She is a certified diabetes educator, and a board certified advanced practice registered nurse. She has a special interest working in transgender care, and has been doing so for over 20 years. She has been honored on the Great 100 Nurses of Louisiana list and has earned the Merlyn Maillian Award for Clinical Excellence in Nursing.
