Deena Couget, LCSW
Deena Couget is a licensed clinical social worker who received her Masters degree from Tulane University. Following this she has worked as a therapist at both inpatient and outpatient treatment clinics. Deena specializes in codependency, trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction, grief, ADHD, and self-compassion. Deena is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) and Brainspotting.
Deena believes the relationship between therapist and client must feel safe, non-judgmental, and empowering. She practices multiple therapeutic modalities so that she can individualize therapy for each client. Sharing your story and experiences fosters courage, hope, and self-acceptance. Deena is grateful to be able to assist in this process of healing and discovery. When she’s not working, Deena enjoys reading, exercising, traveling, and spending time with her family and dogs.
