Martha Cortez, LPC, PLMFT, is a licensed professional counselor and provisionally licensed marriage and family therapist with CrescentCare. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of New Orleans and her Master of Arts in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling from the University of Holy Cross. A Louisiana native, she has been serving clients at CrescentCare since 2020. Martha provides behavioral health therapy with a focus on short-term interventions, utilizing behavioral activation, cognitive-behavioral approaches, and solution-focused methods. Outside of counseling, she enjoys exploring New Orleans’ culinary scene, weightlifting, and spending quality time with loved ones.
