CrescentCare Celebrates Ribbon Cutting for Flagship MidCity Community Health Center

NEW ORLEANS, LA – CrescentCare proudly hosted its official ribbon-cutting ceremony for its Flagship MidCity Community Health Center today, marking a significant milestone in its mission to provide equitable, whole-person healthcare to the New Orleans community. The newly redeveloped 33,000-square-foot facility, located at 2515 Canal Street, was celebrated by local elected and community leaders, CrescentCare staff, patients, and supporters, including .

The state-of-the-art MidCity Community Health Center will serve as a central hub for a wide range of healthcare services, including primary care, pediatrics, behavioral health, sexual health, and more. CrescentCare, a Federally Qualified Health Center, is committed to increasing access to high-quality, inclusive care for all community members, especially those from marginalized communities.

“Today is a celebration of community and a critical step forward in advancing healthcare access for all,” remarked Alice Riener, CrescentCare Chief Executive Officer. “Our new MidCity Community Health Center allows us to better serve our 12,800 patients with state-of-the-art care. This building symbolized our deep commitment to ensuring that no one is left behind in their pursuit of health and well-being. We are proud to stand at the forefront of health equity and inclusivity for all members of our community.”

The event included a ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by facility tours, showcasing its patient-centered design and comprehensive service offerings. CrescentCare continues to focus on bridging the gap in healthcare access for underserved populations in New Orleans and Southeast Louisiana, serving as a beacon of hope and compassion for all.
