Kavin is a New Orleans area native. He graduated from Jesuit High School and Loyola University. Kavin enjoys long walks in local parks and on the Lafitte Greenway. Prior to working in public health, he was a sound engineer for 5 years and still enjoys helping friends play and record music. He can play bass guitar, piano, alto saxophone, and even spent 2 summers in Bayern, Germany playing with his high school jazz band. He also enjoys coloring books, gardening, and cooking when he’s at home. Kavin, prior to becoming Project Coordinator for the +Love Program, was a volunteer for The Movement and worked on a study in partnership with My Brother’s Keeper in 2019.
